Bowen Therapy, also known as The Bowen Technique, is a gentle, hands-on treatment that works with your body’s natural healing ability. Using precise rolling movements over muscles, tendons and connective tissue, Bowen Therapy encourages your body to relax, release tension, and restore balance.
Hi, I’m Lauren Bishop, a qualified Bowen therapist offering gentle, whole-person treatments designed to support relaxation, balance, and natural healing.
Your session begins with a short consultation to understand your needs.
Treatment is gentle and carried out through light clothing, using precise movements to support your body’s natural healing response.
Many clients experience deep relaxation during and after treatment, with benefits developing gradually over a series of sessions.
Appointments
Initial appointments last approximately one hour, with follow-up treatments lasting around 45 minutes to one hour.
Treatments are carried out through light clothing, so please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
A course of three treatments over 3–4 weeks is generally recommended.

Babies (0–24 months) – Free
Payment by card or bank transfer is preferred.
Cancellations
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is appreciated for cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation charge.
